Where have I been? Just about everywhere...

So, I haven't posted since...gosh, I don't even know when! I have been looking forward to November for months, I've had so many exciting things planned! Which made it even more devastating to find out that my school scheduled mock exams through November... 10 to be precise. It could be worse, but it was by no means fun!

November has also brought me my first part-time job working at my riding school. Now, its not very glamorous, but as an animal lover, it couldn't be better!
Poor Penny can't even stay awake the whole day...
Anyway, before all of that was the preplanned parts to November. My friend, Becky and I  had booked tickets to see Gabrielle Aplin. I'm sure I've mentioned her before, because I absolutely love her and her music, and to be honest she was even better live! Becky and I couldn't contain our fan girl side, so I'm sorry to the people we were stood near, but... it is a concert.  Anyway, strongly, strongly recommend you check her out.

Then, the week after we made our way back to O2 Academy, and I was so so so excited about this, to see IMAGINE DRAGONS!!!! Now, they are one of my all time favorite bands, and do not get half the amount of radio play they deserve, and they are the best live band I've ever seen! The atmosphere was amazing, and everyone was so excited that I almost ended up in a mosh pit (not a good idea for such a short girl)!Have a look!

Finally, I went to London!! Just yesterday, I was in London with school, admittedly it was with school, and meant to be educational, but I was with my friends, how could it not be fun?
So, that's my November... Have a happy December!

Embracing Autumn| A Weekend in Bowness

Last week I went to Bowness for the very first time, with my Mum and her fiance, Steve. Honestly, I didn't really know what to expect, hills? Trees? But I was presently surprised with a perfect mix of countryside and highstreet; it was lovely! A well needed escape before my exams and the Christmas busstle.

The Lake District is beautiful this time of year, it's just a burst of Orange and Red (but it was pretty dam cold!). Also, to say we were only there a weekend, we did a hell of a lot! We went shopping, drank in cute little cafes, walked, and went to the oldest little cinema I've ever been in! So, I'll leave you with some holiday snaps...

Have a great weekend,

Embracing Autumn| A Potty Halloween Party

Right now, I should probably be revising for my English exam... but this kind of counts, right? Anyway, I had to fill you in on an amazing little get together we had on Halloween night!

We went to my lovely friend's house, Becky, who threw a (spectacularly British but amazing) Harry Potter themed party, because well... its what us Britons obsess over. I have to say, she really went to town and made everything so cool I can't even describe it, but I think the pictures speak for themselves...

The Deathly Hallows...

We're all true Gryffindors!

Olivander's wand/straws

Trip to Honeydukes anyone?

Use your wand Harry!
We had such a good time, thanks Becky it was incredible!

Our last Summer Adventure| Camping 2013

So, Friday saw an new adventure starting. My Dad, Alfie, our lovely Schnauzer, and I traveled up to the Lake District for our last adventure of the Summer.

Since being young I've always loved camping, and living a very 'wild' life for just a couple of days. This time we went just past Keswick and stayed on a lovely little farm, in the middle of valley. I was sooooo picturesque!

We'd looked at the weather forecast earlier in the week...it wasn't good. But that made waking up to a blue sky on Saturday morning even better! I was so shocked!
Bright and early, we headed up along the side of the waterfall- which ran down the side of the valley. Then we got a little lost on the mountain side... Long story short, I fell over more times than I cared to remember, but I loved every second of it!
Home is where the heart is...right?
Double 0 Dad

However, Sunday was a different story completely. We were rudely awoken in the hours of the morning, by the tent starting to cave in on itself! The wind and rain showed no mercy when we were trying to pack up, but eventually we were ready for off!

I really didn't want to leave, even the rain can't damage the beauty of the lakes. It was just an amazing feeling to escape the busy reality we're all subject too.
  Talk to you soon!

Majorca- te amo...

Camp De Mar

Camp De Mar

Andratx market

Sant Elm

Valldemossa

Deia
As some regular readers may know, the last 12 days I've been away.

On 16th August. I headed of to the sunny resort of Camp De Mar, Majorca.... and it was so so lovely! My family and I go there almost every year, and we never ever tire of it, and it seems to of been a looonnngg year! I needed a holiday!
Sant Elm

Camp De Mar

Port d'Andratx

This year we wanted to do something different. We tried to find new places, have new adventures, after all there's only so much sunbathing you can do (well...). This year we went to the highest town in Majorca, Valldemossa. It's beautiful, traditional and very Spanish! Then to a little town called Deia, the quietest and most remote town in the world, I'm pretty sure of it. We also visited a small beach resort called Sant Elm, it was post card perfect!

Overall, it was such a good holiday, and hopefully the memories will get me through September! I was so lucky, with great company and a great location.

 Till next time readers!
